Beralon has a very
strict safety policy that has kept us accident and incident free for 30 years.
Beralon
has the best equipment that money can buy and the equipment is checked before every job. Our
pumps are chemical resistant and water resistant electrical outlets & spark free boxes used
(intrinsically safe) on all projects where required.
Beralon considers a safe and healthy
work place to be our highest priority. We continuously strive for improvement to better protect
employees, contractors, visitors and the environment from potential hazards posed by work
accomplished at work sites.
Beralon complies with the Occupational Safety
& Health Administration and all other applicable federal, state, and local regulations. We
approach safety with a “Pro Active” attitude and have established a standard policy of zero
exposure while accomplishing work at a site containing potentially hazardous materials. All
activities will be conducted in a manner that minimizes the probability of injury, accident, or
incident.
Our hoses are composed
wire bound and are chemical resistant. The hoses are tested to a pressure of 1,250KPA and test
pressure and date are stamped on the end of each hose. The hoses can be safely used at up to
100°C. The hoses have stainless steel male and female Kamlocks at each end and when joined to a flange or other hose have
a safety device round each Kamlock for double
security. We only have chemical going through these hoses at 400KPA and 60°C for maximum
safety.
Safety showers are
installed on all our sites which are readily accessible to all Beralon personnel and any people working around the sites.
